Compound Prescriptions

A pharmaceutically compounded prescription is one that has been individually prepared to address the needs of a particular patient. Almost any type of medication can be created through compounding.

Adams Drugs knows that no two patients are exactly alike. That’s why we specialize in creating customized medications for each individual. “One-size-fits-all” treatment options do not always fit. Some patients need dosages or formulations that are custom tailored to their own physiological make-ups. Others may require medications without dyes, preservatives or other substances found in commercially produced drugs.

Our experienced compounding staff can do most compounds when a prescription is brought in, however, some compounds require research and special ingredients. These compounds may take 2-3 days to complete.
