Adams Drugs Wellness Screening Program provides the Biometric Screening as required by State Employees Insurance Board (SEIB), Local Government Health Insurance Board (LGHIB), and PEEHIP. These Biometric screenings include assessments of your Blood Pressure, BMI, Blood Sugar, and Cholesterol (total, HDL, LDL, and triglycerides). BMI is assessed using your height and weight. Cholesterol and Blood Sugar are assessed by utilizing a finger stick blood draw. These assessments are designed for early detection of signs of heart disease, hypertension, and diabetes so that you can then talk with your doctor about addressing those potential risk factors.
